Meet Saffron! ​Arriving from the same loving family as brothers Sage and Yarrow after sudden job loss, Saffron is a prime example of a pig who was truly cherished. He is healthy, well-nourished, and has the silkiest, velvety-soft orange fur that you won’t want to stop petting. ​His Personality & Lifestyle Needs: ​Velvet Lap Potato: Saffron plays the classic game of piggy tag when it's time to come out of his cage, but the second he's scooped up (especially with a cuddle cup or fleece blanket), he melts right in. He is remarkably calm, gentle, and sweet once he's settled in your lap. ​Companionship Goals: Saffron is currently a single gentleman and would thrive with friendship! He could be bonded with a compatible, mellow resident boar, paired with a gentle young baby boy, or matched with a spayed female. He would also make a great candidate for a side-by-side neighbor setup if bonding isn't an option. ​The Essentials: Saffron needs a minimum of 8–10 square feet of flat living space (larger if paired with a buddy), soft and absorbent bedding, and plenty of cozy hideys where he feels safe. ​Food Motivation: Saffron's confidence blooms the moment food appears. Crisp romaine, parsley, cilantro, and sweet bell peppers will quickly make you his favorite human. ​Saffron has so much sweetness to share and just needs a patient person to give him the gentle routine and lifelong stability he deserves.
